Shia LaBeouf foi preso. O ator, de 30 anos,foi detido durante um protesto 'He Will Not Divide Us' (Ele não nos dividirá) anti-Donald Trump feito em forma de vídeo live (streaming) e que se prolonga desde a tomada de posse do novo presidente.

Imagens da transmissão desta instalação de arte mostram o ator a gritar com um indíviduo que se imiscuiu na manifestação a clamar "Hitler não fez nada de mal".

Segundo registos dos fãs, nas redes sociais, o ator The 'Transformers' "enxovalhou os nazis" numa atitude de proteção e encetaram o movimento #FreeShia (Libertem Shia).

Recorde-se que Shia começou um protesto livestream - transmissão contínua  - de quatro anos na forma de uma instalação montada à porta do Museu da Imagem em Movimento de Nova Iorque onde os participantes podem partilhar as palavras "ele não nos dividirá" frente à câmara. 

Actor Shia Labeouf has made a point of resisting President Donald Trump through art. As Trump was inaugurated on Friday, Jan. 20, LaBeouf started a four-year livestream in protest, titled “HE WILL NOT DIVIDE US.” l The installation is set up outside the New York Museum of the Moving Image, where participants can share the words “he will not divide us” into the camera. It will be a continuous livestream for at least the next four years. However, when a white supremacist showed up and attempted to co-opt the livestream, LaBeouf reacted by shouting him down until he fled. The man appears at the beginning of the video, where he says “14,” a rallying call to white supremacists, into the webcam. The number “14” is also known as “fourteen words,” or the slogan, “We must secure the existence of our people and a future for white children,” coined by David Lane who was a member of The Order, an American white supremacist terrorist organization.
